Primo’s Big Morning follows one ordinary morning inside a family’s home. The order of things comes apart before Primo notices. What follows is the work of finding his steps again, one at a time.
The story is available in two editions. Each edition holds to the same characters, the same trigger, and the same six-part structure. The language changes to match the reader.
This is a storybook, built to be read for the story itself. It leaves behind one small practice a family can return to afterward.

Primo’s Big Morning, Ages 4 to 8 Edition, follows one morning from its first rush to its settling. 47 spreads. Sentences stay short and declarative. The moment is shown through the body first, rather than named in the abstract. A trusted adult stays present without stepping in too soon. The same text reads aloud to a caregiver and reads independently to an eight-year-old, without a single word changed between the two.
Primo’s Big Morning, Ages 9 to 12 Edition, 50 spreads, carries the same child and the same morning through language built for a fully independent reader. Interiority is permitted, alongside physical detail rather than in place of it. The reader sits inside private reasoning the character has not yet spoken aloud. The story, the trigger, and the six-part structure remain unchanged from the Ages 4 to 8 Edition. This edition carries additional spreads following Primo beyond the morning itself, into an errand and a moment at the library.

Every edition includes a video companion in the same download. It presents the story’s finished illustrations in page order, each image held for a calibrated length of time.
The video carries no narration by design. A caregiver reads the words aloud from the page, or tells the story from memory beside the video, using their own voice and their own pace.
